Searching Software Across All Fleet PCs

The portal now includes a fleet-wide software table with lazy loading and practical filters for application and ship name.

Installed software lists are useful.

They can also become very large very quickly.

Cyber Detective Portal 2 now includes a fleet-wide software inventory view under All PCs.

The table is loaded after the page opens, so the main interface stays responsive while the software rows are fetched.

What operators can filter

The new view is designed around common support questions.

It can filter by:

  • application name
  • ship name
  • publisher
  • version
  • PC name

That means a support engineer can quickly ask questions like:

  • where is this tool installed?
  • which vessels have this application?
  • which PCs report this publisher?
  • where does this version still appear?

Why it helps

Vessel software inventory is not always about licensing or asset management.

Often it is about triage.

Before a support change, an update, or a security review, teams need to know where software actually appears.

Putting that search into the portal saves time and avoids digging through raw audit JSON.

Bottom line

Fleet software inventory is now easier to search from the portal.

It is audit-backed, fleet-scoped, and built for practical support work.
